Description
* Perform welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, cladding, and metallic components, ensuring process quality in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Perform welding activities in accordance with Operational Procedures (OP), Regulatory Procedures (RP), and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to ensure standardization and process quality.
* Prepare welding machines and equipment by adjusting parameters such as shielding gas, current, and welding process type, as instructed, to ensure suitable execution conditions.
* Prepare areas to be welded by cleaning and finishing surfaces using manual or rotary tools to ensure weld joint quality.
* Perform welding using FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW processes and gouging on carbon steel and stainless steel components, executing root pass, fill passes, and cap pass according to parameters defined in the WPS.
* Perform welding on less complex components and structures following direct instructions from the immediate supervisor or welding inspector to ensure correct service execution.
* Identify all welded joints with stamps to ensure traceability and process control.
* Operate overhead cranes (floor-mounted push-button control station), when required, provided the operator is duly trained and qualified per NR\-11\.
* Report any irregularities identified during work execution to the immediate supervisor for correction and failure prevention.
* Request technical support from the welding inspector whenever necessary to guide sequence and validate the service.
* Document performed services and maintain effective communication with the team to ensure operational alignment.
* Strictly comply with safety regulations, using appropriate PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE), and maintaining an organized and clean workplace.
* Perform other related activities of similar nature and complexity level, as required by organizational demands.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Incomplete or completed elementary education
Desirable: 6 months to 1 year of experience
Desirable technical knowledge in: Operation of welding machines and related equipment; FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW welding processes and gouging techniques; Basic understanding of WPS (Welding Procedure Specification); Preparation of welding machines and adjustment of shielding gases.
