THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a DevOps Engineer passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and high availability to strengthen our platform engineering team and ensure our applications scale securely, perform efficiently, and operate cost-effectively. If you enjoy technical challenges, DevOps culture, and direct impact on the product, this opportunity is for you! **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** Manage and maintain containerized environments (Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Support the design and evolution of system architecture, identifying technical gaps and proposing efficient solutions. Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes. Administer and integrate AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, IAM), applying best practices for security, automation, and cost optimization. Manage relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB). Implement and evolve monitoring and observability practices (New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus). Proficiency in AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, IAM) and best practices for security and governance. Experience with CI/CD and automation using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or AWS CDK. Proficiency in Git and version control best practices within collaborative teams. Experience with monitoring and observability (New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus). Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Understanding of cloud security and automation via Python and/or Shell Script. **NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:** AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps). Experience in high-availability environments and disaster recovery practices. Knowledge of distributed tracing and log correlation (New Relic, Datadog, OpenTelemetry). Experience with microservices architecture and messaging systems (SQS, SNS, Kafka). Active participation in technical communities (open source, meetups, forums).
