Promotion of continuous improvement and performance standards **Job Description:** **Position:** Production Assistant **Location:** Ponta Grossa\-PR **Job Description:** The Production Assistant will serve as the Process Coordinator's primary support in leading a team of permanent and third-party employees operating the factory on shift rotation. This role combines technical and people-oriented competencies. The professional will facilitate the work of teams under their responsibility by supporting training planning, shift scheduling, monitoring, execution, and documentation of operational activities and routines—focused on Safety, Environment, and Quality. They act as the Coordinator’s tactical/operational support in executing pre-defined production plan strategies, promoting continuous improvement with emphasis on reducing failures and elevating performance standards. **What are we looking for?** * Completed degree, minimum technical-level qualification related to factory responsibilities. * Ideal experience of 5 years in a production environment. * Minimum 1 year of experience in food production environments. * Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Availability to work any shift as required. * Knowledge of Lean methodologies: Ishikawa, PDCA, TP, SMED, Kaizen, 5S. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * We seek an innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills who prioritizes the well-being of our end consumers. **What would be your key responsibilities?** * Ensure execution of operational team efforts across an area, line, or multi-line technology during a shift, guaranteeing efficient conversion of materials into quality products—safely, protected, and hygienically—in compliance with product design specifications. * Lead engagement, development, and support of a team of up to 20 employees. Plan training and refresher sessions on legal, Quality, or Operational requirements, adhering to self-managed team principles, guided by the Production Coordinator and Operations Manager. * Provide supporting information enabling the Coordinator to evaluate employee performance and jointly execute challenging plans that stimulate employee potential. * Ensure compliance with all HSE (Hygiene, Safety, and Environment) standards and procedures, promoting behavior-based safety systems within the team. * Ensure full compliance with the HACCP plan and verify product conformity with quality standards prior to release.
