Collaboration with production, procurement, and assembly departments **Job: Mechanical Machine Design Drafter** **Job Description** We are seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to develop mechanical equipment and solutions. This professional will be responsible for creating and detailing designs, ensuring technical accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with the company’s production processes. **Responsibilities** * Develop mechanical machine and equipment projects * Create and detail technical drawings of parts and assemblies * Generate and review bills of materials (BOM) for projects * Prepare technical documentation for manufacturing * Create and structure production orders based on projects * Support machine engineering activities and assist production * Perform adjustments and improvements to existing projects * Collaborate with production, procurement, and assembly departments to ensure project feasibility **Requirements** * Experience as a Mechanical Machine Design Drafter or in a similar role * Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor * Knowledge of AutoCAD * Knowledge of Excel (lists, controls, and data organization) * Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, cutting, bending, welding, assembly, etc.) * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Knowledge of technical detailing and tolerances **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in developing special-purpose machines * Familiarity with technical standards (ABNT, ISO) * Basic knowledge of mechanical calculations * Experience integrating design with shop-floor operations * Knowledge of ERP systems **Behavioral Competencies** * Attention to detail and technical precision * Analytical and organized mindset * Ability to concentrate and maintain focus * Proactive problem-solving skills * Strong communication skills for interfacing with technical teams * Discipline in adhering to standards and processes * Ability to manage deadlines and concurrent demands
