Support project leadership for new features/modules **Job Description Summary** =========================== Product engineering internship with focus on product development (Mechanical Engineering or Control & Automation Engineering).**Job Description** =================== **Detailed Description:** * Analyze and identify functional requirements for each product type, identifying concepts related to the specialization of each university program; * Seek to understand user needs for solution development; * Analyze and assist in formulating project definitions, risk management plans, interactive project plans, and project reviews; * Support project leadership for new features/modules, assisting in projects that may be cross-product or cross-departmental; * Assist in translating functional requirements into products or modules meeting user needs (including consideration of user capabilities, limitations, and other end-user requirements); * Assist in product development according to technical architecture understanding and available tools, applicable standards, and system and user requirements; * Assist in drafting requirements and specifications for new features/modules/products; * Support functional project reviews; * Assist in reviewing verification and validation test plans; * Develop calculation tools in various formats involving structural analysis, rotor dynamics, thermal analysis, and/or fluid analysis. **EHS:** Maintain primary commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), complying with all applicable legal requirements and internal procedures at your workplace. Engage in prevention of work-related injuries, illnesses, and environmental pollution, immediately reporting any EHS-related incident, event, or concern. **QUALITY:** Maintain primary commitment to the Quality Management System (QMS), complying with all ISO 9001 certification requirements through applicable internal procedures at your workplace. Engage with Quality Policy and Objectives relevant to your activities, immediately reporting any deviation from standards, rules, procedures, work instructions, event, or quality-related concern. **Education / Experience:** Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, or related fields, with expected graduation starting December 2026. **Specific Knowledge:** * Full Microsoft Office suite; * Basic AutoCAD 2D drafting skills; * Desired: basic Ansys knowledge; * Desired: programming knowledge (VBA and Python); * Position located in Campinas (100% onsite, 6-hour internship). **Languages:** * Fluent Portuguese * Intermediate/Advanced English (preferred). ***GE Vernova is an equal opportunity employer.
