




Job Summary: An occupational safety professional focused on railway construction sites, responsible for inspections, training, and occupational risk management. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to impact safety in railway projects. #### **Responsibilities** * Inspect and audit safety conditions at railway construction work fronts, identifying risks and non-conformities. * Develop and implement action plans to mitigate occupational risks, ensuring compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs), especially NR\-18, NR\-33, NR\-34, and NR\-35\. * Conduct occupational safety training sessions and lectures for teams, including onboarding of new employees and periodic refresher courses, with emphasis on railway-specific procedures. * Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes, proposing corrective and preventive measures, and preparing technical reports (CAT). * Monitor and supervise the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), as well as their maintenance and preservation. * Supervise and monitor high-risk activities, such as working at heights, confined space operations, operation of heavy machinery, and activities near railway tracks. * Prepare and maintain up-to-date occupational safety documentation, including PPRA, PCMSO, LTCAT, technical reports, and permits relevant to the project. #### **Requirements** * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety, with active registration at MTE/CREA. * Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in heavy infrastructure construction projects, preferably railway, highway, or large-scale projects. * In-depth practical knowledge of applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs) for civil construction and transportation sectors, with emphasis on NR\-18, NR\-33, NR\-34, NR\-35, and NR\-09\. * Experience in developing, implementing, and managing safety programs such as PPRA and PCMSO. * Ability to conduct accident and incident investigations, focusing on root cause identification and proposal of corrective and preventive actions. * Certification in First Aid and/or BLS (Basic Life Support). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing, spreadsheets, and presentations. #### **Skills** * NRs (NR\-18, NR\-33, NR\-34, NR\-35\) * Occupational Risk Assessment * Accident Investigation * PPE/CPE Management * Safety Training * First Aid * PPRA/PCMSO Development * Safety Auditing ### **Employment Type:** Contractor (PJ) ### **Benefits:** On-site meals, Wellhub \- formerly Gympass, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Accommodation ### **Department:** SSMA \- Health, Safety and Environment
