Position Summary**
The G.O. Tours Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all excursion and tour activities offered to Club Med guests, ensuring a memorable and safe experience.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement a diverse program of off-resort excursions and activities aligned with Club Med standards and philosophy.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with local transportation providers, tour guides, and other partner companies.
* Ensure guest safety during all excursions by conducting risk assessments and implementing safety procedures.
* Recruit, train, and supervise the team of G.Os (Gentle Organizers) and G.Es (Gentle Employees) responsible for excursions.
* Monitor guest satisfaction with excursions, collect feedback, and implement continuous improvements.
* Manage the excursions department budget, control costs, and maximize revenue.
* Promote and sell excursions to guests using effective marketing and communication strategies.
* Stay updated on local tourist attractions and industry trends.
* Coordinate with other resort departments to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications**
* Proven experience in managing tours or tourism-related activities, preferably in resorts or tourism companies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages are an advantage).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to plan, organize, and solve problems.
* In-depth knowledge of the local region and its tourist attractions.
* Focus on customer safety and well-being.
* Passion for travel and culture.
* A bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is desirable.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
