Would you like to join our team? **Primary Location:** Brazil (BR) \- Sao Paulo \- Indaiatuba **Function:** Environment, Health, Safety (CA) **Title:** EHS Supervisor \- Indaiatuba/SP \- 118534 About the Role As an **EHS Supervisor** in **Occupational Safety** at John Deere, assigned to the **Indaiatuba/SP** facility, you will be responsible for managing legal and regulatory compliance programs for safety and ergonomics at the Construction and Forestry Machinery manufacturing unit. Supervise the Unit’s Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Department and guide area management in establishing and maintaining the Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Management System. Develop and implement programs that identify and reduce employee exposure to workplace hazards. Collaborate with Unit leadership to establish proactive and reactive occupational safety and ergonomics performance goals and guide the Unit toward achieving them. Legally and technically represent the Unit during regulatory visits and inspections. Key Responsibilities * Adhere to the organization’s mandatory safety policies, procedures, and instructions; * Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes to reduce workplace risks; * Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and adopt appropriate corrective measures, escalating issues as necessary; * Lead investigations of all types of safety incidents and provide specialized support to less experienced colleagues; * Implement technical safety and ergonomics methodologies to minimize exposure to occupational hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, applicable legal requirements, and internal John Deere standards, collaborating across all internal functions to ensure compliance; * Implement robust processes to ensure execution of legal and regulatory compliance audits, thereby protecting the organization from occupational hazards and ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for occupational safety and ergonomics; * Resolve issues arising from audits and route relevant matters to leaders of each specific program, while ensuring comprehensive reporting for communication with company management; * Execute communication plans according to established internal systems and procedures; * Prepare and coordinate development of various data reports and analyses related to occupational safety and ergonomics across organizational levels; * Support other company departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate requirements; * Compile and analyze data and documentation required to meet legal, corporate, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System requirements; * Develop safety culture enhancement plans based on organizational maturity for implementation across the company; Skills You Need * Experience in People Management; * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields; * Experience and knowledge in Occupational Safety Culture; * Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis; * Technical experience and knowledge in occupational safety and ergonomics (legislation and related standards); * Advanced English (read and draft emails independently, participate in calls, meetings, and in-person engagements); * Willingness to work onsite in Indaiatuba/SP**;** What Makes You Stand Out * Experience in Occupational Safety within industrial settings (regardless of industry sector) and technical knowledge in ergonomics; * Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Management Systems (ISO 45\.000\); * Project Management experience; * Familiarity with Data Analysis tools such as Power BI; * Specialization in Occupational Safety; * Active registration with CREA; **Our Key Benefits** * Variable compensation; * Health insurance plan; * Dental insurance plan; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Eyewear benefit; * Vaccine reimbursement; * Corporate University; * TotalPass; * Depending on the location, you may have an on-site cafeteria, meal allowance, or food voucher; * Pharmacy allowance; * And more \#LI\-Hybrid **Our Selection Process** Selection begins with your application; for some positions, additional assessments may apply.
