**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our Maintenance team at our Porto Feliz Unit, responsible for supervising, guiding, planning, and executing electrical maintenance and systems work (predictive, preventive, and corrective) across all factory facilities; monitoring and controlling performed maintenance activities; supporting cost management; and identifying opportunities for improvement—to ensure full operational functionality of production equipment and machinery in accordance with pre-established programs. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Supervise the team to guarantee quality execution of electroelectronic and mechanical activities; * Guide repairs and corrections on electrical/mechanical equipment and systems; * Conduct periodic meetings with direct and indirect subordinates to ensure machine and equipment availability; * Ensure SAP system information is updated regarding maintenance plans, reviews, and execution of preventive plans for machines and equipment; * Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive electrical/mechanical maintenance activities across all factory facilities and support the team in executing critical tasks; * Plan electrical, electromechanical, and electrotechnical activities in SAP according to the maintenance process flowchart, prioritizing pending items and demands from facilitators and coordinators; * Provide necessary resources for activity execution in compliance with Smurfit Westrock procedures and policies, and monitor machine availability to achieve company-defined objectives; * Perform component and system failure analysis using the Porto Feliz Failure Analysis Process, and support Reliability Engineering in failure analysis, implementation of new projects, and change management; * Develop technical warranty reports, informational reports for measurement or root-cause identification to present potential losses or asset preservation assurance; * Request parts registration into inventory when parts are unavailable, and link required parts and/or services via Maintenance Notes and Work Orders; * Receive suppliers and accompany them for machine adjustments and inspections; * Define and review team technical procedures to ensure standardization of activities; * Interpret electrical diagrams; * Inspect installations and equipment; * Diagnose structural, electrical, mechanical, electronic, installation, machine accessory, and component issues; * Review and, if necessary, replace equipment and/or components; * Monitor each activity performed during machine shutdowns for preventive maintenance, ensuring full utilization of each assigned resource, adherence to estimated timeframes, and timely machine handover; * Ensure on-call staff follow predefined routes and perform recovery work on equipment scheduled for replacement under preventive maintenance; * Manage the work team—including selection, guidance, training, performance monitoring, evaluation, feedback delivery, dissemination and enforcement of company procedures/norms, work processes, and implemented management systems—as well as interacting on other people-management-related topics; * Ensure compliance with safety norms and procedures, as well as required conformity levels and regulatory requirements; * Perform people management activities such as vacation scheduling and time tracking administration; * Guide and execute Utilities area activities, controlling steam distribution to production areas, and monitoring and delivering training to subordinates to ensure high-quality steam and compressed air supply across the entire factory; * Guide and execute environmental management activities to guarantee excellence in the unit’s e² (Environmental Excellence) program; * Actively participate in Cluster, Sales, and monthly planning meetings to systematically improve the order intake process and sales plan execution—without losing sight of customer satisfaction. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Completed Technical Education in Electrical Engineering, Electroelectronics, Mechatronics, or related fields; * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields preferred; * NR10 and SEP certifications; * Technical knowledge of software, hardware, PLCs, controllers, frequency inverters, servo motors, and similar; * Intermediate (technical) English preferred; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * SAP system knowledge preferred. **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 62 paper mills.
