Management of passenger and material transportation **Job Description: Rack-and-Pinion Elevator Operator** The professional will be responsible for operating rack-and-pinion elevators—equipment primarily used on civil construction sites for vertical transportation of personnel and materials. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate the rack-and-pinion elevator in compliance with safety regulations; * Conduct daily inspections of the equipment prior to use; * Control passenger and material boarding and disembarking; * Ensure proper loading and securing of transported cargo; * Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or irregularities; * Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements; * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace. **Requirements:** * Completion of elementary education; * Rack-and-pinion elevator operator training course (NR-18 or equivalent); * Prior experience in this role is preferred; * Basic knowledge of occupational safety regulations. **Desired Competencies:** * Attention to detail and sense of responsibility; * Commitment to safety; * Good communication skills; * Discipline and organizational skills.
