Conduct follow-up with suppliers. Monitor installation/assembly of purchased items. Maintain departmental documentation and routines. Research supplier markets for products and services by collecting pricing information to identify optimal purchasing opportunities. Negotiate with suppliers to finalize purchases under the best conditions regarding price, quality, and delivery schedule. Issue purchase orders and submit them to suppliers, tracking delivery processes and ensuring full compliance with all negotiated terms. Identify new suppliers of diverse products and services to develop alternative sourcing options. Explore alternative products aligned with production process capabilities to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs. Monitor return procedures for goods delivered inconsistent with purchase orders. Update supplier price lists for goods and internally disseminate this information to relevant departments. Conduct on-site visits to supplier factories to stay technically updated on purchased products.
