Job Summary: Professional responsible for compounding and production of magistral formulas, quality control, hygiene, organization, and management of raw materials—with emphasis on documentation and training. Key Highlights: 1. Accurately perform compounding of magistral and officinal formulas 2. Ensure quality control of raw materials and compounded products 3. Maintain hygiene, safety, and organization of the workplace 1\- Responsibilities: 1\. Compounding and Production Perform compounding of magistral and officinal formulas according to prescriptions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); Accurately conduct weighing, dilutions, homogenizations, and encapsulations; Prepare solutions, suspensions, gels, creams, capsules, syrups, tablets, sachets, and other dosage forms; Follow production orders issued by the pharmacist, ensuring completion of all steps; 2\. Quality Control Conduct organoleptic evaluation (color, odor, appearance, texture) of raw materials and compounded products; Record and report non-conformities (e.g., weight discrepancies, appearance defects, label inconsistencies); Assist in in-process quality control analyses (e.g., average weight, pH, density, volume, assay); Ensure batch traceability and proper completion of control records. 3\. Hygiene, Safety, and Organization Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace; Strictly adhere to surface and equipment cleaning and sanitization procedures; Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow biosafety standards; Prevent cross-contamination and maintain appropriate operational flow within the laboratory. 4\. Raw Material and Supply Control Verify identification, batch number, and expiry date of raw materials prior to use; Perform or assist in portioning and labeling of raw materials; Request replenishment of raw materials and packaging supplies as needed; Maintain organized and controlled inventories, observing required storage conditions. 5\. Documentation and Recordkeeping Accurately complete production orders, weighing records, in-process control forms, and production reports; Assist in developing and updating SOPs and routine forms; Ensure all steps are documented and signed as required by health regulatory authorities. . Technical Support and Training Participate in internal training sessions on good practices and new procedures; Collaborate closely with the responsible pharmacist—receiving guidance and reporting results; Contribute to process improvements by suggesting technical and operational adjustments.
