About the position We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Indaiatuba/SP. We are looking for an organized, analytical, and quality-oriented professional committed to accuracy of fiscal information and fulfillment of tax obligations. Location: Indaiatuba – SP Work model: On-site Employment type: Full-time Key responsibilities: * Preparation of trial balances and accounting statements * Classification and recording of expenses and documents * Execution and management of accounting spreadsheets and reports * Analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts * Accounting entries and tax closings * Calculation and determination of taxes (PIS, COFINS, ICMS, among others) * Verification of withheld taxes and completion of tax payment forms * Review of bank transactions and receipt reconciliations * Organization of accounting and tax documentation * Support in client service and communication * Identification and resolution of accounting pending items Requirements: * Prior experience in an accounting firm * Knowledge of standard accounting and tax procedures * Basic understanding of tax calculation * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsibility regarding deadlines * Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Advantages: * Completed or ongoing degree in Accounting Sciences or related fields * Knowledge of tax and labor legislation * Experience with accounting reconciliations and closings * Familiarity with accounting software systems Job type: Permanent CLT Selection questions: * Do you have tax experience?
