About the position: * The complexity of logistics operations demands an accurate and agile flow to avoid bottlenecks in operations. Professionals responsible for this area must possess not only broad vision and agility in decision-making but also experience and professional background in this sector. * Your main responsibilities include managing logistics operations, resolving operational issues, identifying alternatives to reduce costs and improve the flow of goods. * Professionals with experience in the retail or industrial sectors have a significant advantage. Key responsibilities: * Monitor production scheduling, storage, distribution, and product transportation; * Evaluate transportation methods; * Verify the condition of products leaving the company; * Guide the logistics team on departmental processes; * Ensure team safety by providing guidance on occupational health and safety procedures; * Follow procedures and regulations, complying with hygiene requirements and access policies; * Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization; * Monitor logistics performance indicators and propose continuous improvements; * Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels and prevent stockouts; * Negotiate with suppliers and transporters to optimize costs and delivery timelines. Desirable qualifications (advantages): * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Logistics or Business Administration; * Postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage; * Process analysis capability; * Initiative and proactivity; * Strong communication skills; * Experience in the retail or industrial sector; * Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; * Intermediate English proficiency is an advantage; * Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor or in similar roles; * Knowledge of inventory, transportation, and distribution management; * Leadership and team management skills; * Analytical and problem-solving abilities; * Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards applicable to logistics; * Proficiency in logistics management tools and ERP systems.
