Ensuring tax compliance and efficiency **Job Description:** ---------------------- Analysis and execution of tax processes with focus on direct taxes, ensuring accurate calculation and payment of taxes, compliance with current legislation, and support to the company's tax strategy, thereby guaranteeing compliance, risk mitigation, and tax efficiency. Main Responsibilities: \- Calculate direct taxes (RET experience is a plus) according to the applicable tax regime; \- Calculate IRPJ and CSLL according to the applicable tax regime; \- Prepare and review LALUR, ECF, and other ancillary obligations related to direct taxes; \- Analyze tax calculation bases, additions, exclusions, and tax offsets; \- Perform tax and accounting reconciliations, ensuring data integrity; \- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impacts; \- Control provisions and payments of direct taxes; \- Support internal and external audits related to the tax area; \- Maintain constant interface with Accounting, Legal, and Finance departments. Mandatory Requirements: \- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences; \- Prior experience in the tax area with focus on direct taxes; \- Experience calculating IRPJ and CSLL; \- Knowledge of tax regimes (Real Profit and Presumed Profit); \- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/management systems.
