Milling Machine Operator

Description

Main responsibilities * Operate **milling machines** (conventional or CNC). * Interpret **technical drawings** and production orders. * Prepare the machine by securing the workpiece and selecting cutting tools. * Adjust machining parameters (speed, feed rate, and depth of cut). * Perform **milling of surfaces, slots, gears, grooves, and profiles**. * Measure parts using instruments such as: * caliper * micrometer * dial indicator * height gauge * Ensure parts comply with specified tolerances. * Perform minor adjustments and basic machine maintenance. * Follow **safety and quality standards**. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Technical or vocational training in **mechanics / machining**. * Knowledge of: * reading and interpreting technical drawings * metrology * Experience operating conventional or CNC milling machines.
