




Job Summary: Laboratory professional responsible for processing tests, performing sample collections, triage, quality control, equipment maintenance, and communication with clients, ensuring standardization and compliance. Communication with clients and technical team Process laboratory tests; Perform sample collection and preparation; Receive, triage, verify, centrifuge, and distribute biological samples to respective departments for analysis; Execute procedures assigned to your workstation, prioritizing result release; Release test results after quality control analysis, test analysis, and clinical correlations; Monitor pending collections and/or test results; Perform and evaluate internal and external quality control for conducted tests; Control, monitor, and record preventive and corrective equipment maintenance; Perform equipment maintenance; Manually enter work maps when not interfaced, and release tests via interface; Manage inventory control and material requisitions, considering consumption/loss of each item used in the department; Provide test clarifications to physicians and patients; Archive raw data (work maps, spreadsheets, reports) from your department; Implement and execute quality programs and tools to ensure standardization; Act as a multiplier, promoting and transferring technical and scientific knowledge, and training new employees; Support colleagues with technical questions and clarify client inquiries; Communicate\-with clients to discuss results, provide recommendations, and schedule additional tests/re-collects if necessary; Ensure accurate registration of patient demographic data and monitoring of patient procedures; Maintain inventory records and update equipment and supplies; Maintain temperature logs, POPs, and calibration/validation certificates for equipment/instruments. Coordinate the technical team to schedule tests and ensure proper procedures are followed; Manage client accounts and maintain updated records; Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and routines; Providing instructions and feedback regarding procedures, protocols, routines, directives, and various trainings/meetings; Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing laboratory operations; Ensure overall workplace organization, including cleaning routines, equipment maintenance, unit functionality, and various routines; Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders, including laboratory staff, suppliers, executives, and clients; **Problem-solving skills:** identify and resolve issues occurring in the laboratory and troubleshoot daily equipment problems.
