Learn more at irco.com and join us to take control of your future. **Job Overview** Responsible for ensuring compliance of parts and subassemblies through inspections conducted during production, assembly, and receiving, as well as monitoring machining processes and instrument calibration. Prepares reports and metrics, manages scrap/rejection control, and supports production areas. Conducts inspections and supplier visits, supporting supplier development using quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, and MSA. Actively participates in meetings and contributes to continuous process improvement and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. **Responsibilities** * Conduct complex technical inspections on castings, machined parts, pressure vessels, subassemblies, and finished products, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications. * Monitor and develop suppliers, performing external inspections, FUP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and corrective action follow-ups. (supplier evaluation methodologies) * Prepare and manage inspection reports, rejection reports, quality indices, and analyses in Excel / Power BI, SAP-QM, and TOTVS. * Perform measurement instrument verification and calibration, and monitor machining and assembly processes to ensure accuracy and reliability. * Actively participate in Production and Quality meetings, providing and analyzing metrics and tracking corrective actions. * Comply with and support maintenance of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree completed in **Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Engineering, or related fields**; * Prior technical education (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electrotechnical, or Mechatronics Technician); * Solid experience in compressors/vacuum systems, accessories, sheet metal, panels, motors, castings, and machined parts; **boilerworks, oil & gas** * Experience in welding processes and inspection of pressure vessels; * Solid experience in supplier development (PPAP, FMEA, MSA); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 preferred). **Preferred Qualifications** * Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Advanced English proficiency preferred; * Experience with SAP and TOTVS (preferred); **Travel and Work Model** * Willingness to travel domestically (primarily off-site, visiting suppliers, same-day round-trip) * Hybrid work model: 1 day per week working remotely Ingersoll Rand Inc.
