Job Summary: A pharmacy is seeking a Substitute Pharmacist to provide customer service, prescription interpretation, pharmaceutical care, medication dispensing, and inventory management. Interpret prescribed prescriptions and provide clarifications regarding the correct use of medications. Deliver pharmaceutical care. Dispense medications. Record data in SNGPC. Monitor, count, and verify the expiration dates of medications and controlled substances. Organize the injection room. Administer injectable medications. Train staff and perform other duties inherent to the pharmacist role. Previous experience as an Assistant Pharmacist, Junior Pharmacist, On-Duty Pharmacist, or Unit Pharmacist may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
