Development of new testing procedures #### **Responsibilities** * Perform complex laboratory tests on civil construction materials—including concrete, soils, aggregates, and asphalt—according to ABNT, ASTM, and other applicable standards. * Carry out calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure result accuracy and reliability. * Analyze and interpret test data, preparing detailed technical reports and certificates for material and process approval. * Develop and implement new testing procedures and test methodologies to support continuous quality and efficiency improvement. * Supervise and guide junior and mid-level technicians during test execution, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. * Actively participate in the laboratory’s quality management system, contributing to the maintenance of certifications such as ISO/IEC 17025\. * Provide specialized technical support to field and engineering teams in resolving issues related to materials and quality control. #### **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Building Construction, Environmental Control, Materials Science, or related fields within Civil Construction. * Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a civil construction materials technological control laboratory. * In-depth practical knowledge of ABNT and ASTM standards for concrete testing (compressive strength, slump), soil testing (granulometry, Atterberg limits, Proctor), aggregate testing, and asphalt testing (Marshall, penetration). * Proficiency in operating and calibrating laboratory equipment, including compression testing machines, granulometric analysis equipment, and asphalt testing apparatus. * Experience preparing technical reports and certificates, with strong critical analysis capabilities for test results. * Familiarity with laboratory quality management systems (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025\). * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and material technical specifications. #### **Skills** * Concrete Testing (ABNT NBR 5739\) * Soil Testing (ABNT NBR 7181, 6457, 6458, 6459\) * Asphalt Testing (ABNT NBR 12891, 13074\) * Equipment Calibration * Result Analysis * Technical Report Writing * Quality Control (ISO/IEC 17025\) * Laboratory Equipment Maintenance * Metrology ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub \- formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Reimbursement, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
