This position is essential to sustaining product quality, enhancing departmental controls, and elevating the company’s technical and operational level. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform chemical composition analyses of non-ferrous metals via wet chemistry and instrumental methods, ensuring accuracy and traceability. * Conduct critical analysis of material chemical composition, guiding and directing the production process based on reliable technical data. * Perform and/or monitor the recording, control, and integrity of data related to product chemical composition. * Prepare and issue quality certificates in accordance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements. * Consolidate and analyze departmental data, developing, improving, and monitoring performance indicators (KPIs). * Develop, review, and maintain departmental procedures and Work Instructions, reinforcing standardization and process professionalism. * Prepare and review technical data sheets and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring legal compliance and up-to-date information. * Execute quality control on the production line and during dispatch, ensuring materials meet established specifications and standards. * Perform control, data analysis, and monitoring of calibration activities for measurement equipment in the Laboratory and Production departments. * Manage internal and external non-conformities, performing root cause analysis and tracking corrective and preventive actions. * Issue and control documentary evidence intended for regulatory agencies, such as the Brazilian Army, Civil Police, Federal Police, and CETESB. * Execute and monitor activities related to the PGRS (Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan) and the Non-Ferrous Waste Management Service. * Actively participate in structuring and continuously improving the quality management system and laboratory processes. * Proactively identify deviations, improvement opportunities, and operational risks. * Support cultural transformation initiatives by promoting practices of organization, standardization, and operational discipline. * Maintain clear communication and continuous alignment with Production, Quality, and regulatory departments. **Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** * Technical or higher education degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering. * Active CRQ (Regional Council of Chemistry) registration required. **Experience** * Prior experience in an industrial chemistry laboratory. * Experience analyzing non-ferrous metals is a significant advantage. * Previous work in companies with a data-driven culture, process control, and audits will be considered a relevant advantage. **Technical Knowledge** * Chemical analysis techniques via wet chemistry and instrumental methods. * Interpretation of technical standards and material specifications. * Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality indicators. * Familiarity with management systems (ISO 9001, SDS, traceability). * Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). **Advantages** * Ability to structure processes and implement sustainable improvements. * Experience with data digitization and analytical tools (Power BI, Advanced Excel, etc.). * Prior experience in metallurgical companies. * Participation in external audits or certifications. **Valued Soft Skills** * Sharp analytical reasoning and data-driven decision-making. * Proactivity in anticipating problems and acting swiftly. * Organization, sense of priority, and discipline. * Assertive communication across different departments and hierarchical levels. * Self-management capability and autonomous execution. * Adaptability and openness to change. * Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality.
