What your day-to-day will look like You will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of machinery, equipment, and tools aboard the vessel’s workshop, keeping them always clean and organized. You must inspect, under the guidance of the Service Engineer Officer, the systems required to ensure they function properly. You must be present in the Engine Room or at a pre-designated location during vessel maneuvers and emergency situations. You must also prepare cabins and service compartments as assigned, immediately reporting any relevant occurrence to the Service Engineer Officer.
