Job Summary:
A kitchen assistant is the chef's right-hand person, responsible for operational support—from sanitation and pre-preparation to organization and cleaning.

(SHIFT SCHEDULE: 12 HOURS ON / 36 HOURS OFF) — 10 AM TO 10 PM
The kitchen assistant serves as the chef’s right-hand person, providing operational support: sanitizing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food (pre-prep), organizing the workstation, cleaning utensils/equipment, and assisting with basic cooking tasks. They ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
**Detailed Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant:**
* **Pre-prep (Mise en place):** Washing, peeling, chopping, grating, and cutting vegetables, herbs, meats, and seasonings—preparing everything for final cooking.
* **Kitchen Support:** Assisting in preparing salads, sauces, desserts, and snacks, as well as supporting stove operations (roasting, frying, boiling) under supervision.
* **Organization and Hygiene:** Cleaning countertops, equipment (ovens, refrigerators), utensils, and maintaining a sanitized and safe work environment (in compliance with ANVISA regulations).
* **Inventory Control:** Checking product expiration dates, organizing refrigerators/cabinets, and informing the chef about the need to restock supplies.
* **Dish Plating:** Assisting in finishing and plating simple dishes, ensuring menu standardization.

Compensation: R$1.978,00 – R$2.413,01 per month
