* **Production and Blending Planning:** * Develop the **Master Production Plan (MPP)** for each unit (BJ, PGA, and BAR), considering order backlog, commercial forecasts, and installed capacity. * Plan production of **NPK blends, MAP, urea, KCl, sulfur, and other formulations**, ensuring availability of raw materials and packaging. * Create **weekly scheduling by customer, product, and blending line**, ensuring alignment with commercial planning. * Balance resources across blending and bagging lines to avoid bottlenecks and idle time. * **Production and Dispatch Control:** * Monitor daily **execution of the weekly plan** and loading volumes per unit. * Adjust scheduling in response to stockouts, logistical variations, weather conditions (for agricultural shipments), mechanical failures, or delays in vessel and truck arrivals. * Track progress of production orders (OPs), actual cycle times, shift productivity, and bagging speed. * Integrate PCP with **Logistics**, ensuring scheduled loading aligns with product availability. * **Materials Management (Raw Materials and Inputs):** * Collaborate with the Supply department to plan **raw material requirements**, based on formulations and demand forecasts. * Control minimum, maximum, and safety stock levels for KCl, MAP, urea, SSP, micronutrients, and additives. * Synchronize actual consumption vs. accounting inventory to prevent discrepancies. * Monitor vessel arrival forecasts, unloading, customs clearance, and internal transportation. * **Cross-Departmental Alignment:** * Maintain direct interface with: * + **Commercial** – demand, deadlines, product mix + **Supply Chain** – plant supply + **Logistics** – loading windows and product availability + **Factory** – line capacity and potential constraints * Participate in weekly **Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)** meetings with directors and regional teams. * Validate commercial commitments based on actual factory capacity and warehouse stock. **Process and Systems Management (ERP/PCP):** * Ensure correct system configuration – SAP B1 * + Production routings + Technical data sheets for blends + Standard times + BOMs (Bills of Materials) * Develop and standardize workflows and routines for production, consumption, data entry, and dispatch. **KPI Management (GeN KPIs):** * Production Plan Accuracy (%) * Weekly Planning Adherence (%) * Blending Productivity (tons/hour per line) * Raw Material Stockouts * Inventory Level vs. Target Inventory Order Lead Time (order → loading) * Produced Volume vs. Forecasted Volume * Efficiency per Unit (BJ, PGA, BAR) **Team Management:** * Coordinate the distributed PCP team across units. * Define priorities, assign tasks, and monitor daily performance. * Train team members on process standardization and system usage. * **Develop analytical thinking and routine discipline within the team** **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields; * Experience in fertilizer manufacturing or high-turnover inventory industries; PCP management experience; experience leading teams and managing production processes; * Strong expertise in PCP applied specifically to the fertilizer industry; * Solid knowledge of MRP, MPP, CRP, and inventory management; * Familiarity with NPK blends and operation of blending/bagging lines; * Proficiency in industrial ERP systems: SAP; * Knowledge of industrial productivity and efficiency metrics; * Lean tools, PDCA, and continuous improvement methodologies; * Postgraduate qualification in Production, PCP, Logistics, or Industrial Management is desirable; * Willingness to travel between branches when required; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
