It began clinical operations on January 03, 2011, with gradual implementation, progressively increasing the number of beds available to Uberlândia’s public health network. To serve Uberlândia/MG’s population—estimated at approximately 600,000 people—at medium-complexity levels, HMMDOLC operates in full partnership with Uberlândia’s Municipal Health Department, focusing on supporting primary care units requiring secondary-level resolution, under a referral-based model for hospitalizations, outpatient care, and diagnostics.
