Learn more about this position and submit your application!** **Your responsibilities:** Perform physicochemical analyses of wood to support process control, material quality evaluation, and technical study development. Conduct tests according to the analytical plan, test methods, and defined control plans, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Learn more about your activities:** * Plan and organize testing routines, ensuring execution according to schedule, priorities, and technical requirements. * Receive, prepare, and store wood samples for analysis, ensuring proper identification, traceability, and compliance with environmental procedures for storage and disposal. * Perform laboratory tests such as moisture content, basic density, apparent density, and other methods specified in technical standards. * Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as ABNT, ISO, TAPPI, and other applicable standards. * Schedule and monitor equipment calibrations, internal verifications, and preventive maintenance (e.g., balances, ovens, moisture meters, calipers, etc.). * Assist in reviewing and updating SOPs, work instructions, and forms, contributing to continuous laboratory improvement. * Record data in spreadsheets and systems, ensuring traceability, organization, and integrity of generated data. * Monitor inventories of reagents, consumables, and materials, signaling replenishment needs. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you:** Completed Technical Education in Chemistry, Forestry, Pulp and Paper, or related fields.
