SENAI arrived in Goiás in 1952 with the construction of the pioneering Senai GO 1 School (today Senai Roberto Mange Faculty of Technology) in Anápolis. When established and subordinate to the Regional Delegation of São Paulo, Senai GO 1 offered only vocational training in fitting, mechanical turning, blacksmithing, electricity, and joinery. At that time, the state’s economic context involved only a few hundred small industries and even fewer medium-sized ones.
Today, SENAI offers professional training through various courses delivered in modalities including industrial apprenticeship, technical qualification, technological undergraduate programs, postgraduate studies, initiation, qualification, and professional upgrading, as well as providing technical and technological advisory services across multiple fields.
As part of the Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás (FIEG), SENAI has kept pace with industrial sector growth through continuous investment in improving and updating its human resources and learning environments, leveraging technological innovation to contribute to industry competitiveness and state development.
Our **MISSION** is to promote professional education and higher education, innovation, and industrial technology transfer, contributing to enhancing industry competitiveness.
And as our **VISION**, by 2027, SESI and SENAI will be recognized as industry partners and drivers of productivity and competitiveness.
