Job Summary: Perform nursing procedures and care for patients undergoing clinical and surgical treatment, ensuring quality of care and patient safety. Key Highlights: 1. Perform nursing procedures and care for patients of the Institution undergoing clinical and/or surgical treatment, involving technical-level activities aimed at ensuring the quality of care provided and patient safety. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform nursing procedures and care for critically ill patients of the Institution undergoing clinical or surgical treatment; * Implement preventive measures for identified risks based on institutional protocols; * Record relevant information regarding patients under one's responsibility, ensuring safety and continuity of treatment; * Participate in the surgical process, including verification of the surgery schedule, operating room setup, checking surgical kits, receiving and transferring patients to the operating table, preoperative precautions, preparing the operating table, assisting during surgery, transferring the patient to the post-anesthesia recovery room, and preparing the operating room for the next surgery; * Organize the anesthesia process in operating rooms, including arranging materials, anesthetic drugs and equipment, transferring the patient from the stretcher to the operating table, assisting during anesthesia administration, as well as participating in anesthesia procedures for patients undergoing cardiac surgery, which requires specialized care, time, equipment, instruments, and medications; * Provide individualized care to critically ill patients admitted to ICUs or general wards; * Collect and/or submit laboratory tests requested by physicians; * Verify medical and nursing prescriptions, applying signature and official stamp; * Assist in performing medical procedures such as chest drainage, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy, intracath insertion, etc., gathering specific materials for each procedure to stabilize hemodynamic parameters; * Instruct visitors during visiting hours on hand hygiene and its importance in preventing infection among patients under one's care; * Monitor material and medication expenditures and their expiration dates to prevent waste; * Assist nurses and/or physicians in performing invasive procedures and provide necessary materials; * Work in critical areas, providing care to severely ill patients requiring invasive devices; * Check and replenish supplies at ICU bed panels, such as gauze, catheters, suction equipment, sterile gloves, Ambu bags, etc.; * Verify trays prepared for urgent procedures, date them, and restock missing items; * Inspect the emergency cart and test the defibrillator daily; * Perform other duties as required or at the discretion of the unit nurse; * Admit patients into the unit together with the nurse, receiving admission forms and medical records, guiding patients to their beds, identifying them, and identifying their medication bins; * Participate in shift handovers bed-to-bed, communicating important information to colleagues alongside the entire nursing team; * Participate in nursing care planning; * Actively participate in the risk management program to avoid errors and harm to patients under one's care; report any incidents to the responsible nurse, implement interventions to minimize risk, and document them in the prescription; * Perform all nursing actions except those exclusively reserved for registered nurses, per the General Nursing Procedures Manual; * Participate in patient discharge planning, jointly with the nurse, providing guidance to patients and their companions regarding care and devices, if necessary. * Verify ideal conditions for patient referral in the preoperative phase of surgeries; promptly respond to verbal requests or call bell notifications from inpatients; * Safely administer medications, preventing patient harm; know High-Alert Medications; * Maintain unit cleanliness and report non-conformities to the hygiene service; * Maintain and preserve unit equipment and materials; notify the equipment center regarding needs or removal due to disuse; * Keep patient medical records and documents properly organized; * Notify the nurse about repairs, maintenance requirements, or missing equipment in the unit; * Participate in defining the daily individual material requisitions for patients. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Completed technical nursing course; * Active COREN registration; * Intermediate knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** MULTIPLE UNITS \- NORTH AND WEST CENTRAL SECTOR 180 hours per month Salary range: R$2\.300,00 to R$2\.800,00 Benefits: * Meal Allowance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Partnerships with SESC and Tangará **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, federally, state- and municipally recognized as being of public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925 dated 03/04/1966, 40\.103 dated 05/17/1962, and 8\.911 dated 07/30/1970\.
