Job Summary: The Nursing Technician provides nursing assistance under supervision, performing procedures, maintaining patient hygiene and comfort, and assisting with examinations. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration with multidisciplinary team The Nursing Technician position is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Duties include performing low-complexity procedures, administering medications, maintaining patient hygiene and comfort, and assisting with examinations and procedures. This professional must possess technical knowledge in healthcare, as well as communication and teamwork skills. * Perform nursing procedures such as wound dressings, medication administration, specimen collection, and others, following instructions from the supervising nurse. * Maintain patient hygiene and comfort by assisting with examination preparation, clothing changes, positioning, and other patient needs. * Record information regarding patients' health status, clinical condition, and performed procedures, ensuring accurate patient responses in questionnaires and/or patient anamnesis. * Assist with examinations and procedures by preparing patients, organizing the environment, and collaborating with the healthcare team during their execution. * Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding required care and procedures to ensure patient safety. * Participate in training and capacity-building activities to remain updated on nursing practices and protocols, thereby ensuring quality care delivery. * Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, maintaining effective communication and working integratively to support patients' well-being and recovery. * Ensure patient safety and comfort by adhering to biosafety standards and guaranteeing an appropriate environment for healthcare delivery. * Minimum 1 year of experience in venipuncture. * Experience in patient positioning for examinations. * Proficiency in up-to-date computer skills.
