Job Summary: Professional responsible for collecting, centrifuging, and processing biological samples, ensuring correct dispatch, supply management, recordkeeping, and proper waste disposal. Key Highlights: 1. Collection and processing of biological material 2. Sample management and dispatch to technical departments 3. Supply control and waste disposal * Collect biological material according to physician orders and collection guidelines, when required. * Perform centrifugation, separation, and receipt of biological samples in the sorting area. * Dispatch materials to technical departments in a timely manner for processing. * Dispatch materials to support laboratories according to each sample's specific requirements. * Submit weekly supply requisitions to ensure inventory availability for the following week at the warehouse. * Dispose of generated waste properly, in compliance with RDC 222 and PGRSS. * Monitor pending reports and tubes not received in the sorting area. * Receive biological samples verifying whether they were stored properly according to POA.SGQ.20, which governs sample transportation and storage. * Accurately record all activities performed. * Dispatch inclusion-derived samples to technical departments. * Provide clear and accurate information to staff regarding material to be collected. * Safeguard company assets. * Report nonconformities to the immediate supervisor.
