If you are an organized, courteous, committed, proactive, and passionate Occupational Safety Technician, **join our team!** Grow with us and make a difference in an environment that values people and safety. **Grendene is your place!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Collaborate closely with the company’s Health department to implement the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Policy, promoting preventive practices that ensure safe and healthy working environments. * Continuously assess and monitor the intensity and concentration of risk agents (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and accident-related), ensuring they remain within appropriate limits for employee health and safety. * Ensure all employees align with Occupational and Asset Safety policies, encouraging safe behavior and correct use of collective and individual protective equipment (CPE and IPE). * Guarantee execution of routines outlined in the Safe Behavior Index (SBI) at the facility. * Regularly inspect workplace sanitation and other company premises to ensure appropriate cleaning standards. * Keep the company’s health and safety programs (e.g., Risk Assessment Program [RAP], Ergonomic Analysis Program [EAP], Technical Report on Working Conditions [TRWC], Prevention Program for Hazards [PPH], etc.) updated and compliant, and support development of the Occupational Health Program (OHP). * Control proper use and storage of chemicals used in production, maintaining up-to-date Safety Data Sheets (SDS). * Train, supervise, and support prevention teams (Fire Brigade and Internal Accident Prevention Committee [IAPC]), ensuring their activities comply with company policies and guidelines. * Plan and conduct educational campaigns and initiatives to strengthen a preventive culture among employees. * Monitor water quality and pest control at the facility, promptly notifying the responsible department upon identifying non-conformities. * Support definition of corporate defense strategies in labor and social security proceedings, in partnership with the Human Resources Administration department. * Provide technical guidance to the work team and other involved departments, ensuring correct use and maintenance of processes and equipment. * Manage asset security—including electronic monitoring, patrol systems, and front desk operations—where applicable. * Propose continuous improvements to processes within your area of responsibility, contributing to greater operational efficiency and safety. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Completed Occupational Safety Technician program and active registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). **Desirable:** * Completed undergraduate degree in: Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Law, Mechatronics, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, or related fields. **Advantages:** * Training in NR-10, NR-12, NR-33, or NR-35 * Knowledge of RAP/Risk Management Overview (RMO) * Training in Ergonomics (NR-17) * Advantageous: Experience in the industrial sector. * Internal auditing (ISO 45001 or 14001) **Additional Information** Unit: **Grendene – Crato** Our story has been built over 50 years, driven by simplicity and collaboration among hands that, with every step, imprint their love for everything they do!
