Job Summary: We are seeking a Mid-Level Ruby on Rails Developer to provide production support, focusing on user support, and the development of improvements and fixes in a production environment. Focus on technical capability, strong communication, and problem-solving On-site – Joinville/SC **About the Opportunity** ------------------------ We are looking for a Mid-Level Ruby on Rails Developer to work on-site in Joinville/SC, joining the client’s support team. This professional will have a hybrid role involving both **Level 1 user support and development of improvements and fixes**, working in a production environment under the guidance of the client’s technical specialist, who will direct and advise on more complex tasks. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical proficiency with strong communication skills and a problem-solving focus. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Provide Level 1 support to system users (initial ticket analysis) * Identify, classify, and prioritize incidents * Fix bugs and perform adjustments to existing functionalities * Develop improvements and minor enhancements to the system * Support root cause analysis of technical issues * Collaborate with the client’s technical specialist * Ensure code quality, organization, and version control * Support technical and functional documentation when required **Technical Requirements** ----------------------- **Mandatory:** * Experience with **Ruby on Rails** * Knowledge of Ruby * Experience maintaining production systems * Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) * Experience with Git for version control * Knowledge of REST APIs * Basic front\-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) **Desirable:** * Prior experience in system support/maintenance * Experience providing user support * Knowledge of Docker * Experience with automated testing (RSpec or similar) * Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) **We aim to provide our team with a welcoming, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
