




Job Summary: Provide support to the Controller’s Office in Três Barras/SC, developing financial scenarios, analyzing performance results, and ensuring compliance with legal and accounting obligations. Assist in the company’s economic and financial management. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our Controller’s Office team at our Três Barras/SC unit in an on-site capacity, responsible for supporting the development of financial scenarios (budget and forecasts) for business operations, aiming to generate insights that enable the establishment of action plans for sustainable business management. Provide support in preparing performance analyses, reports, and studies on proposed gains from productivity and capex projects. Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and accounting standards, thereby contributing to improved economic and financial management of the company. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Support activities related to financial planning development under the guidance of senior staff; * Support the preparation of performance analyses and reports (variances between actual results and budget) and presentations for leadership; * Perform internal controls to comply with company-established policies. Analyze potential risks to the security and reliability of financial and accounting information, and collaborate with the Controller to develop and map processes and procedures aimed at mitigating potential risks; * Support analysis of proposed gains in productivity projects regarding their impact on results; * Organize inventories, support fiscal registration of invoices (NFs), and record consumption write-offs; * Support internal or external audit activities; * Assist corporate finance areas with requests related to best practices, regulations, audits, and projects; * Assist in activities related to Capex and fixed asset control (e.g., allocation, project closure, depreciation); * Comply with company policies/procedures/standards, work processes, and implemented management systems; * Perform other duties related to your role and work process procedures as required. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) * Experience in administrative functions * Basic English proficiency preferred * ERP\-SAP knowledge preferred * Familiarity with financial mathematics, industrial processes, internal controls\/SOX procedures, or basic accounting concepts preferred **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion facilities and 59 paper mills.
