




**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our **Maintenance** team at the **Paper Mill** in **Três Barras/SC**, who will be responsible for manufacturing parts and accessories, reading and interpreting drawings, collecting correct measurements, preparing, adjusting and operating equipment and tools to machine and shape metal and composite parts. Adjust lathe mechanisms, establishing ideal speed, calibrating automatic control devices and controlling the flow of lubricants on the tool edge. **Responsibilities and duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Properly prepare the mechanical lathe, planer, milling machine, band saw and other workshop equipment, selecting tools, precision instruments and correct speed and feed movement. * Perform tests on NR12 equipment safety sensors and fill out the respective form for each shift/use. * Select the material to be used to manufacture or repair devices and component parts of equipment, based on field measurements, drawings, sketches, technical standards and knowledge of mechanical materials. * Fix and adjust parts, providing necessary alignment, activating contact keys and levers to start the lathe, adjusting and regulating machine carriage movement limiters, part rotation speed, cutting depth and tool feed according to specifications of the material being machined. * Operate mechanical lathe, manipulating levers and handwheels, checking automatic controls, facing, chamfering, drilling, roughing, adjusting, regulating speed, movement and feed, machining internally and externally various types of parts: shafts, valves, couplings, flanges, gears, threads. * Constantly measure machined parts using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, combination squares, height gauges, calipers and various scales, verifying dimensions and admitted tolerance limits. * Assist in assembling equipment whose component was manufactured or repaired. * Operate planer, column drill, grinder, metal tools and drills, ensuring their efficiency and preservation, repairing defects or replacing worn or damaged parts. * Perform other related activities to your role and work process procedures as needed. **Requirements and qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Completed Technical Course in Mechanical Engineering; * Knowledge of SAP software (PM module); * Proficiency in Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI); * Knowledge of Precision Mechanical Maintenance techniques; * Knowledge of equipment alignment and leveling techniques; * Knowledge of bearing maintenance; * Knowledge of reducer maintenance; * Knowledge of mechanical properties of materials; * Ability to interpret mechanical drawings; **Additional information** **WHAT WE OFFER FOR THIS POSITION:** We want to ensure you have support regarding your health.
