Maintain a welcoming and stimulating learning environment. **None:** **Job Title:** Elementary School Teacher \- Upper Grades **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the school curriculum, using active and innovative methodologies. * Monitor students' academic performance through assessments and provide ongoing feedback. * Design and grade exams, assignments, and activities, recording each student's progress. * Participate in pedagogical meetings, class councils, and other school events. * Collaborate in developing interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities. * Maintain a welcoming, safe, and stimulating learning environment for students. * Communicate with and advise parents or guardians regarding students' progress and needs. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Geography (Teacher Licensure) * Prior experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably in the upper grades. * Excellent communication skills and empathy in interactions with students, parents, and school staff. * Ability to plan, organize, and manage classroom instruction. * Proficiency in assessment techniques and monitoring the teaching\-learning process. * Familiarity with and ability to use technological teaching tools and resources. * Commitment to students' holistic development and to the school's growth. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in Education or related fields. * Experience with active teaching methodologies, such as project\-based learning, flipped classroom, etc. * Foreign language proficiency (e.g., English, Spanish). * Participation in continuing education courses and teacher professional development. **Additional Information:** * Work modality: In\-person **None:** None
