Job Description We are seeking a **Speech-Language Pathologist** for **on-site work** at a highly reputable hospital in **Porto Alegre (RS)**. The professional will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with needs related to **communication, language, and swallowing**, including conducting assessments, developing therapeutic plans, and monitoring patients’ clinical progress. Key responsibilities include: * Conducting **speech-language pathology assessments and diagnoses** for hospitalized patients, using area-specific protocols and procedures. * **Developing and implementing individualized therapeutic plans**, tailored to each patient’s needs. * Performing **assessment, management, and follow-up of dysphagia**. * **Monitoring patients’ clinical progress** during hospitalization. * Providing interventions focused on **prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation** of communication, language, and swallowing functions. * **Guiding patients and their families** on therapeutic interventions and required care. * Developing **health promotion, prevention, and quality-of-life programs** within the hospital setting. * Collaborating with **multidisciplinary teams**, contributing to integrated, high-quality patient care. Qualifications * Completed undergraduate degree in **Speech-Language Pathology** * Active registration with the **CRFa** (Regional Council of Speech-Language Pathologists) * Experience or knowledge in **speech therapy, communication, and language (Preferred)** * Knowledge of **dysphagia assessment and management (Preferred)** * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a **multidisciplinary team (Preferred)** Work Schedule * Rotating schedule of **5 days on / 2 days off (Monday to Friday)** * Afternoon shift * Weekend on-call duties according to roster * All weekend on-call shifts are **fully compensated as overtime**, not constituting a 6-day workweek.
