Work in hospital environments, prioritizing quality and safety. \#OurWayRedefinesStories **About the Opportunity:** Refrigeration Mechanic I Responsible for executing the preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance plan for refrigeration and heating equipment at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital Association, ensuring that such equipment remains in optimal working condition according to technical and safety standards, as well as institutional regulations. Responsibilities and Duties Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on refrigeration equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan, including cleaning of filters, bearings, seals, connections, part adjustments, re-tightening, and component cleaning, among other tasks, using appropriate tools—ensuring comfortable temperatures across all institutional areas and maintaining standard refrigeration levels within enclosed units. Receive, analyze, and execute maintenance work orders; Monitor air quality inspections and measurements, as well as chemical dosing for HVAC water treatment. Operate the central air conditioning system, verifying chilled or hot water production, and contacting the third-party maintenance provider when necessary to ensure system stability and uninterrupted service to all areas; Participate in and collaborate on project analyses aimed at cost reduction and increased reliability; observe safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE during all activities. Participate in and contribute to the safety, quality, and environmental program to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines. Requirements and Qualifications **What We Require:** Completed high school education; Completed technical course in Refrigeration. **What May Set You Apart:** Training in Electromechanics or Mechanics; Certification in electric welding and TIG welding; Experience performing this role in hospital, industrial, or related environments.
