Operations Supervisor Oversees the operations of the branch where assigned, planning, developing, and organizing operational and administrative activities in accordance with BBM Logistics’ established norms and procedures, ensuring service excellence for customers and contributing to the company’s results and profitability. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and supervise the branch’s operational activities and those of its agents, within established quality specifications and standards, aiming to ensure achievement of the company’s objectives and goals; \- Systematically monitor and control production performance through analysis of management indicators and problem analysis, proposing necessary plans and actions to ensure achievement of established goals and objectives;\- Control the branch’s vehicle fleet under their responsibility and support its maintenance, ensuring vehicles are in safe operating condition and comply with applicable legislation;\- Ensure customer operation support by monitoring branch activity execution to meet the collection schedule defined by the customer;\- Evaluate with the customer and define the most suitable vehicle type for each transportation requirement, as well as provide guidance on safety matters;\- Negotiate with the customer new work possibilities in cases of adverse weather conditions, truck breakdowns, or other events affecting transportation progress;\- Interface with customers to secure road clearance in case of truck accidents (owned or third-party), minimizing transport downtime;\- Reduce operational costs while respecting quality, environmental, and safety requirements;\- Ensure high-quality customer service, maintaining good relationships and verifying transportation costs, deadlines, and quality to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty;\- Guarantee truck maintenance by monitoring and enforcing scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance;\- Safeguard regional and environmental safety to ensure required operating permits;\- Manage drivers and ensure proper scheduling of team shifts to meet the branch’s transportation needs, paying attention to safety, discipline, and applicable legislation;\- Analyze and plan fleet sizing required to meet the branch’s demand;\- Comply with the Code of Ethics and Conduct, and strictly adhere to Compliance requirements, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies.\- Commitment to fulfilling requirements of reference quality and environmental certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SASSMAQ.Work Environment BBM Group BBM’s history began over 20 years ago!
