




Job Summary: A Chemistry Technician to manage equipment, perform analytical preparations, conduct quality control, and manage data in a microbiological and physicochemical analysis laboratory. Administrative and technical support within the department Baktron Microbiologia LTDA is a company specialized in microbiological and physicochemical analyses. We are currently expanding our operations and have just commenced a new contract with Petrobras, assuming operation of the REFAP - Alberto Pasqualini Refinery laboratory in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul. **Your responsibilities will include:** * **Equipment Management:** Perform calibrations, periodic verifications, and basic preventive maintenance (replacement of parts and consumables). * **Analytical Preparation:** Prepare reagent solutions and standards with rigorous precision. * **Quality Control:** Carry out monitoring and quality assurance activities for laboratory processes. * **Data Management:** Use laboratory information management systems (LIMS/software) for recording and controlling information. * **Administrative Support:** Assist in organizing departmental documentation and technical records. **Prerequisites:** * **Education:** Completed Technical Degree in Chemistry. * **Active Registration:** Must hold an active professional registration with the **CRQ** (Regional Council of Chemistry). * **Experience:** Minimum of **1 year** of proven experience in chemical and physicochemical analyses. * **Skills:** Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), proficiency with digital systems, and a proactive attitude toward solving technical problems.
