We seek professionals motivated by challenges, with a strong business-oriented mindset and focused on identifying opportunities and solutions. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- We are seeking an Accounting Analyst with experience in financial institutions or fintechs to work in the accounting department, ensuring accurate execution of accounting routines, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic support to the finance department. **Activities:** * Perform and review monthly and annual accounting closings. * Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and explanatory notes). * Conduct accounting reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts. * Work in regulatory accounting for financial institutions, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. * Support internal and external audit activities. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards (CPC/IFRS) and financial sector regulations. * Support preparation of management reports and financial analyses. * Contribute to improving accounting department processes and internal controls. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with regulatory accounting for the Central Bank. * Experience in fintech environments or companies experiencing rapid growth. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences. * Active CRC (Regional Accounting Council) registration. * Prior experience in financial institutions, fintechs, or financial sector companies. * Knowledge of accounting standards (CPC / IFRS). * Experience with accounting closings and financial statements. * Intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency. * Knowledge of COSIF (Chart of Accounts for Financial Institutions). **Skills:** * Analytical and organized profile * Attention to detail * Proactivity * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to manage deadlines and concurrent tasks **Additional Information** **We Offer:** * Remuneration to be negotiated * Work location: Praia de Belas neighborhood, Porto Alegre * Employment regime: CLT (Consolidated Labor Laws) The **Villela Group** is a leader in the Brazilian market for business recovery and corporate consulting, having served over **100\.000 companies**.
