Job Summary: A Mechanical Designer to develop elevator push button projects, from concept through detailed design, using CAD software and providing technical support. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in technical problem analysis and resolution, as well as continuous improvement An electronics manufacturing company seeks a Mechanical Designer in Porto Alegre (Sarandi). **Responsibilities:** Develop mechanical designs for floor and car elevator push buttons, from concept through detailed design for manufacturing. Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation in accordance with applicable standards. Perform parametric modeling and technical detailing using CAD software. Develop and adapt special projects according to technical requirements and commercial needs. Specify appropriate materials, dimensional tolerances, surface finishes, and manufacturing processes. Generate bills of materials (BOM) and technical documentation for production. Provide technical support to production teams, clarifying questions related to manufacturing and assembly. Participate in the analysis and resolution of technical issues related to the manufacturing process. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing cost, quality, and productivity. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and procurement departments for technical validation of designs. Review and update existing drawings and designs as required by technical or production needs. Previous experience as a Mechanical Designer, Project Engineer, Mechanical Design Technician, or Product Development Specialist may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position.
