




The **Construction Helper** assists masons, carpenters, and machine operators in carrying out civil construction activities, supporting the preparation of the worksite, handling of tools and equipment, and cleaning and organizing the construction site. Their greatest challenge is to ensure efficient support to work teams while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality in task execution. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist masons, carpenters, and heavy equipment operators in daily activities; * Support the use of equipment and handling of tools, following technical and safety standards; * Assist in preparing the worksite and organizing the construction site; * Collaborate in constructing foundations and masonry structures; * Support application of finishes and screeds; * Load and unload construction materials, prepare the construction site, and clean work areas; * Clean and inspect machines, tools, and equipment for operational readiness; * Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of masonry structures. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites:** * Completed elementary education; * Training in the Construction Industry; * NR-35 certification is a plus. **Desired Skills and Competencies:** * Resilience; * Focus, Planning, and Organization; * Excellent communication and active listening; * Proactivity; * Aptitude for and enthusiasm about teamwork; * “Spark in the eyes” (self-motivation and genuine interest). **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** * Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:48 p.m. **Our Benefits Package:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Childcare reimbursement for children up to 4 years old * Education assistance covering up to 80% of undergraduate tuition fees and 50% of postgraduate tuition fees * Free parking * Complementary private pension plan * Year-end recess If you believe in meaningful work that creates value and delivers positive impact on society and the University, JOIN PUCRS!
