Job Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Safety Technician for direct on-site work, focused on prevention, team guidance, and control of occupational health and safety (OHS) routines to ensure safety. Pedro Adams Filho, 6520 – Centro, **Novo Hamburgo** **Employment Type:** CLT (Consolidated Labor Laws) **Salary:** R$ 3\.000,00 to R$ 3\.999,00 **Benefits:** VA + VR + VT **About the Position** We seek an Occupational Safety Technician for direct on-site work, focusing on prevention, team guidance, and effective control of occupational health and safety (OHS) routines. This is an operational role, performed onsite, ensuring that construction progresses safely, orderly, and responsibly. Here, safety is not paperwork—it is routine. **Main Responsibilities** * Monitor construction activities, identifying hazards and proposing preventive measures. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal procedures. * Conduct daily safety talks (DDS) with teams. * Guide employees and third-party workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE). * Manage the distribution, usage, and replenishment of PPE. * Inspect work fronts, scaffolding, excavations, machinery, and equipment. * Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Risk Management Plan (PGR), the Occupational Health Monitoring Program (PCMSO), and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Reports (APRs). * Monitor and record incidents, deviations, and near-misses. * Collaborate with engineering and site supervisors to immediately correct hazards. * Support inspections, audits, and interactions with regulatory authorities when required. **Challenges of the Role** * Working on ongoing construction projects with multiple simultaneous work fronts. * Ensuring team adherence to safety standards in daily operations. * Intervening firmly when necessary, without compromising dialogue. * Acting swiftly to correct deviations and prevent accidents. **Expected Profile** * Technical qualification in Occupational Safety, with active registration. * Practical experience on civil construction sites. * Proactive, attentive, and organized profile. * Strong communication skills and firm demeanor onsite. * Ability to act preventively and in real time. **Desired Experience** * Experience on medium- or large-scale construction projects. * Experience with renovation projects or occupied environments (preferred). * Experience integrating safety practices and delivering basic safety training.
