Emotional and educational support for patients and their families Provide comprehensive, safe, and humanized care to oncology patients, accompanying all treatment stages while ensuring quality, compassionate reception, and compliance with institutional and ethical standards and protocols. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Administer medications—including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy—following specific protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. * Navigate patients through treatment, ensuring multidisciplinary scheduling and appointments per medical protocols. * Assess patients’ health status, including cancer-related and treatment-related symptoms (e.g., chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery). Monitor and document patients’ physical and emotional conditions throughout treatment. * Provide detailed information about cancer, its treatments, and possible side effects to patients and their families. Offer emotional, educational, and practical support to help patients cope with the disease’s physical and psychological impact. * Support patients during invasive procedures—such as biopsies, bone marrow aspirations, and catheter insertions—ensuring their comfort and safety. * Comply with patient safety regulations as outlined in ANVISA RDC No. 36/2013\. * Develop, update, and ensure implementation of nursing therapeutic protocols for prevention, treatment, and mitigation of side effects. * Record relevant nursing care information and statistical data in the patient’s medical record and other required documents. * Evaluate performance and quality indicators, interpreting and improving their application. * Maintain up-to-date technical and scientific knowledge regarding individual, collective, and environmental biosafety, enabling effective professional practice in routine and emergency situations, aiming to prevent or interrupt incidents that could cause physical or environmental harm. * Comply with—and ensure compliance with—applicable rules, regulations, and legislation governing the scope of practice. * Manage inventory and system entries for supplies and medications. * Ensure outpatient clinics and other clinical areas are organized according to institutional standards. * Guarantee accurate completion of medical records to ensure standardized daily account closing and subsequent billing. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Oncology specialization. * Experience in oncology. * Standard nursing operational procedures. * Knowledge of and adherence to the Infection Control and Waste Management Hygiene and Cleaning Procedures Manual. * Familiarity with medical prescriptions. * Routine medication administration practices, including expiry dates and stability. * Hospital infection control and biosafety standards. * Proficiency in organizational management systems. **Additional Information** Benefits: Meal Voucher or Food Allowance Transportation Voucher or Fuel Allowance Corporate University Health and Dental Plans with no monthly fee for the employee Annual bonus based on goal achievement GymPass Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 08:00–18:00; Friday: 08:00–17:00 We are a strong, experienced group driven by health.
