We create works that have impacted millions of lives—works in which we reclaim our history, so mistreated and misrepresented; address the deep wounds of education; and present sensitive topics with sobriety—producing some of the most-watched documentaries in Brazil. **Our Mission:** To restore good values, ideas, and feelings in the hearts of all Brazilians. **Our Vision:** To become Brazil’s most influential cultural ecosystem. **About Brasil Paralelo’s Culture:** Our values are not superficial virtues forced upon employees who simply want a job, but rather verbalizations of the attitudes that shaped who we are. Freedom. Pursuit of Truth. Ambition. Meritocracy. Beauty and Art. These are some of our company’s core values. We create works that impact the lives of millions of people, presenting sensitive topics with sobriety and producing some of the most-watched documentaries in Brazil. **1 — Truth:** Truth is not relative—it is the highest good and an inexhaustible goal. It follows that “safe spaces” do not exist, because to think, one must risk offense. Contrary to many modern companies, here there is no ideological discrimination against libertarians or conservatives. Your intelligence is never disrespected. There is no “newspeak.” You need not walk on eggshells. There is no thought police. Orthodoxy holds no privilege. **2 — Freedom:** Individuals differ in how they choose, act, and reap results—and restricting their freedom constitutes an abuse of power. We encourage developing awareness of personal responsibility for outcomes and value those who can self-motivate to work and learn autonomously. **3 — Art:** Whatever cannot be grasped through rational language will be communicated and felt through well-crafted art. We see audiovisual creation as an opportunity for convergence between technology and art. We believe that innovative tools, combined with an unwavering pursuit of beauty, guide us in fulfilling our mission. **4 — Ambition:** Those who strive for the utmost perfection in their achievements—even if never fully attained—will always give their best. We are here to build products that become benchmarks and reach their full potential. **5 — Meritocracy:** We all desire the best life and the best world possible, and merit is the only legitimate path to achieving them. Any achievement without merit is unstable and fleeting. Thus, we deliberately reward higher performers more generously, rather than accepting an equity model that first demotivates some and then spreads discouragement to others. **6 — Unity:** We are all different here—not only physically, but also in ideas and perspectives. Knowing when to set aside our differences and prioritize our shared goal is essential, because together we achieve what would be impossible alone. Unity is a matter of survival, and fulfilling our mission is a matter of responsibility. **7 — Diplomacy:** Being diplomatic means being humble. Respecting others means acknowledging that we do not possess absolute truth, and that alone we cannot build the world we inhabit. Being diplomatic is not being insincere—in fact, it means integrating into the world rather than separating ourselves from it.
