




Job Summary: We are seeking a Commodities-focused Buyer I to ensure the balance between inventory availability and profitability—from supplier negotiations to shelf-level monitoring. End-to-end supply chain monitoring We seek a **Buyer I**, focused and analytical, for the Commodities category. The main challenge will be ensuring the balance between inventory availability and profitability—spanning strategic supplier negotiations through to product monitoring on shelves. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop planning and actions aimed at achieving category performance targets—including physical and financial volumes—as well as profitability levels defined in the Company’s goal plan. * Support sales points to improve performance and achieve objectives through merchandising and marketing initiatives. * Build supplier relationships and conduct corresponding negotiations to secure optimal service and product conditions available in the market. * Monitor all stages of the supply chain for assigned products—from purchase order placement through to merchandise registration at *check\-out*, including inventory levels, replenishment points, shelf exposure, and anomaly resolution. * Track market trends and competitor behavior/positioning to identify and propose new products, services, etc., to the Company. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree (Business Administration, Economics, Commercial Management, or related fields). * Prior experience in procurement, preferably within the food retail sector.
