**About the vacancy** We are seeking an **Occupational Safety Technician** to promote a safe and healthy work environment, supporting the implementation of the company's occupational health and safety policies. This professional will be responsible for monitoring working conditions across units, advising managers and employees, and supporting compliance with regulatory standards and labor legislation. **Main responsibilities** * Conduct safety inspections across units, identifying hazards and proposing corrective and preventive measures. * Ensure compliance with **Regulatory Standards (NRs)** and other legislation related to occupational health and safety. * Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, preparing technical reports and action plans. * Monitor safety indicators and support the management of prevention programs. * Advise employees and leadership on the proper use of **PPE and Engineering Controls (EPCs)**. * Deliver occupational safety and health training sessions and campaigns. * Support the management of the **Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA)**, Annual Internal Occupational Health and Safety Week (SIPAT), and other prevention programs. * Assist in drafting and updating legal documents and safety programs. * Support processes related to **eSocial (Occupational Health and Safety events)**. * Collaborate with HR, SESMT, and operational leadership to strengthen safety culture. **Mandatory requirements** * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety * Active registration with the **Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE)** * Experience in occupational safety routines * Knowledge of **Regulatory Standards (NRs)** * Basic/intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency * Availability for periodic visits to company units. **Desirable** * Experience in large-scale companies or those with multiple units; * Experience managing CIPA and investigating accidents; * Driver's license category B and availability for travel.
