Job Summary: The Resident Engineer supervises and monitors the execution of civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with design documents, regulations, schedule, budget, and quality and safety standards. Technical problem resolution and management support The Resident Engineer is responsible for the technical and operational supervision of the construction project, ensuring execution in accordance with design documents, schedule, budget, and company-established quality and safety standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise and monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with design documents, technical specifications, and applicable regulations; * Coordinate internal and subcontracted teams, assign tasks, and monitor productivity; * Perform measurements of completed work for physical\-financial project control; * Support scheduling planning and monitoring, identifying deviations and proposing solutions; * Control materials, equipment, and supplies used on site, preventing waste and ensuring adequate availability; * Prepare technical reports and daily site reports (DSRs), documenting progress, incidents, and key performance indicators; * Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations (NRs), promoting best practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE); * Interface with suppliers, clients, designers, and other involved departments; * Assist in design coordination and resolution of technical issues during construction; * Support procurement processes for services and materials; * Monitor quality inspections and tests, ensuring compliance with required standards; * Participate in alignment meetings and report project status to coordination/management.**Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; **Behavioral Competencies:** * Organization and sense of priority; * Proactivity and problem-solving ability; * Strong communication skills and team leadership; * Results-oriented mindset and adherence to deadlines; * Teamwork. **Note:** A professional in a developmental stage, operating with supervised autonomy, working directly on-site and supporting project management. * Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction projects; * Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings; * Basic knowledge of construction planning and control; * Fundamental understanding of technical standards and occupational safety; * Familiarity with tools such as Excel, AutoCAD, and construction management systems is desirable.
