Interface with various university departments and student support. **About the Position:** The **Financial Assistant** is the bridge connecting efficiency and empathy in academic financial matters. More than serving internal and external stakeholders, this role assumes the commitment to transform every interaction into a positive experience—marked by cordiality and empathy—ensuring financial solutions are always agile and human-centered. The challenge goes beyond technical resolution; it involves welcoming, understanding, and making a difference in each person's journey. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide service to internal and external stakeholders; * Perform billing adjustments and discount entries; * Submit system-related requests to the technology team for student enrollment adjustments; * Execute debt renegotiation and installment plans for students; * Issue financial and academic documents and declarations; * Identify and correct registration inconsistencies; * Monitor and support student requests in coordination with other university departments. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, or Accounting; * Experience in customer service; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. **Desired Skills and Competencies:** * Ability to perform financial calculations and operations, including interest, discounts, corrections, and results analysis; * Skill in conducting assertive negotiations and managing conflicts; * Familiarity with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM | 175 hours per month **Benefits:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Childcare reimbursement for children up to 4 years old * Education assistance covering up to 80% of undergraduate tuition fees and up to 50% of postgraduate tuition fees * Free parking * Complementary private pension plan * Year-end recess *If you believe in meaningful work that creates value and generates positive impact for society and the university,* ***JOIN PUCRS!*** At PUCRS, we believe every person can transform the world—and that belief drives us daily to become everything we can be.
