We seek a technical, analytical professional with a process-oriented mindset who is eager to generate real impact on operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Analyze and optimize forging processes (hot, warm, or cold), targeting **increased efficiency, cost reduction, and improved quality**. * Identify operational bottlenecks and opportunities for **technological improvements or automation**. * Develop and maintain **process flows, technical instructions, and standardizations**. * Monitor performance indicators such as **productivity, efficiency, rejection rate, rework, and energy consumption**. * Prepare reports and analyses to support decision-making. * Participate in the planning and implementation of **new processes, equipment, or layouts**, including technical and economic feasibility studies. * Provide **technical support to production**, addressing process-related issues and failure analysis. * Conduct or support **technical training** for operational teams. * Ensure compliance with **quality requirements, technical standards, and occupational safety regulations**. * Collaborate closely with **production, maintenance, quality, product engineering, and suppliers**. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical/Materials Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum **2 years’ experience in forging processes or the metallurgical industry**. * Knowledge of **plastic deformation processes** and forging equipment. * Experience with **metallic materials**, heat treatment, and inspection of forged parts. * Experience in **development and optimization of production processes**. * Knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma**, and failure analysis (FMEA). * Proficiency in **CAD tools** (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX or similar). * Familiarity with **ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards**. * Advanced technical English. * Experience with **ERP systems** (SAP, TOTVS or similar). **Preferred:** * **Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)** certification. * Experience with **forging process simulation** (DEFORM, QForm, Forge). * Exposure to **Industry 4.0**, real-time monitoring, IoT, or data analytics. * Participation in projects focused on **cost reduction, productivity improvement, or sustainability**. * Experience working on projects with **automotive, aerospace, or oil & gas sector clients**. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** **Bachelor’s degree completed** in related fields, such as: * Mechanical Engineering * Production Engineering * Metallurgical or Materials Engineering * Manufacturing Processes Technology **Additional Information** **WORK SCHEDULE:** Your work schedule will be: 07:30–12:00, 13:00–17:03 Monday to Friday **BENEFITS OFFERED:** * Meal Card; * On-site cafeteria; * Coffee served at the cafeteria before the start of each shift; * Unimed Health Insurance (Unifácil or Unipart), extendable to legal dependents; * Unimed Dental Plan, extendable to legal dependents; * Chartered transportation and/or Transportation Voucher; * Life insurance. #### **A FORCE IN MOTION** #### **The largest Latin American manufacturer of suspension, steering, and braking components for light vehicles.** #### **We focus on improving our performance—pursuing operational excellence, competitiveness, profitability, and high performance—through safety, quality, continuous improvement, and process innovation, supported by an agile and structured methodology.** #### **To achieve these objectives—with our customers at the center—Our People have developed the Viemar Way of Being, sustained by our strong core values.** #### **We believe our greatest asset is our people.
